Five guilty on heroin charges
FIVE people from Morecambe have been convicted of conspiracy to supply and distribute heroin in the town from West Yorkshire.
All five pleaded guilty and will be sentenced at Preston Crown Court this Friday (March 1) on charges covering the period February to May 2011.
They are: Angela Pinwanee Dixon, 26, of Halton Court, Morecambe – conspiracy to supply class A drugs (heroin) and possession of cannabis
Joshua Marshall, 41, of Albert Road, Morecambe – conspiracy to supply class A drugs (heroin) and possession of cannabis
Lisa Marshall, 27, of Albert Road, Morecambe – conspiracy to supply class A drugs (heroin)
Richard McCrum, 27 of Albert Road, Morecambe – conspiracy to supply class A drugs (heroin) and possession of amphetamine
Richard Smith, 35, of Fairhaven Way, Morecambe – conspiracy to supply class A drugs (heroin).
Three other people pleaded guilty as part of the same investigation.
They are: Majid Raj, 34 of Swallow Street, Keighley – two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs (heroin)
Amjid Raj, 35 also of Swallow Street, Keighley – two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs (heroin)
Derek Fleming, 49 of Quaker Lane, Bradford – conspiracy to supply class A drugs (heroin)
