Events Guide - April

Brass band concerts make a welcome return to Morecambe’s Happy Mount Park in April through to September and you can take a walk on the wild side over at the RSPB nature reserve at Leighton Moss.

Other highlights include a talk on a remarkable find of Viking silver – the Silverdale Hoard – at Lancaster City Museum and the start of the Wray Scarecrow Festival (which continues into May).

There’s also Freddie Starr at Lancaster’s Grand Theatre, fun and games at Happy Mount Park’s Easter Extravaganza and an open week of sport where local clubs throw open their doors for free to celebrate the Olympics.
