Young dancers can make festival mark

Dance groups from the county, whose members are aged 11 to 19, are invited to submit entries for the Lancashire Youth Dance Festival 2013.

Hundreds of young people from around the county will take part in the two-day performance event presented by Ludus Dance and The Dukes, Lancaster on May 17 – 18, 2013.

If you are in a youth dance group based in Lancashire and love to show your creativity and imagination, apply now.

You will have the chance to perform your piece and take part in an exciting range of dance and theatre workshops.

Completed applications should be received by Ludus Dance, no later than 5pm on Friday, February 17.

Only finished pieces and brand new work will be considered; these can be any dance style, ranging from contemporary and hip-hop to street, physical theatre or Bollywood.

Visit the Ludus Dance website at www.ludusdance.org for terms and conditions and to download an application form.
