Vintage fair in Lancaster
An example of the styles that will be available at the fair.
THE styles of yesteryear will be the centre of attention at a travelling vintage fair which comes to Lancaster for the first time this weekend.
Founded by former TV stylist Judy Berger, Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair is in its seventh year, and will visit the Royal Kings Arms Hotel, Market Street, on Sunday, February 5.
A spokesman for the fair said: “Judy’s mantra was a simple one; gather eclectic, exciting vintage traders and designer-makes from all over the UK, scrutinise them for affordability, and then bring them together for a bustling vintage marketplace, all for one day.
“A city rich in fashion and students, yet starved of old-world events, a visit to Lancaster has long been on the cards for Judy’s Affortable Vintage Fair.
“It brings everything from tweeds and tailoring to sixties shifts, 1920s beading, to the kitsch and collectable.
“Shoppers should expect the eclectic.”
