THE classic songs of the Carpenters will be brought to life when a touring show reaches Lancaster later this month.

Full House Productions visit The Grand Theatre on Sunday, February 26, with Voice Of The Heart – Karen Carpenter.

A spokesman for the Grand said: “It will be a musical memory with the greatest tracks from The Carpenters, featuring the stunning voice of Carole Gordon, who can recreate the velvet tones of Karen Carpenter with uncanny ease. Carole, along with the Blue Jeans band and singers, will lead Carpenters fans everywhere through a magical evening.

“The show will feature Yesterday Once More, Goodbye To Love, Close To You,Only Yesterday – all the hits every Carpenters fan adores...and much more.”
