Edinburgh Fringe show comes to Lancaster

LOL (lots of love)

AN acclaimed show, which enjoyed a six-night run at the Edinburgh Fringe last year, comes to Lancaster later this month.

Protein Dance’s LOL (lots of love) is a study of online life and the complexity of real relationships set to contemporary dance routines, and will be performed at Lancaster Insitute for the Contemporary Arts on January 31.

A spokesman for Live at LICA, which is based at Lancaster University, said: “Against a video wall of dozens of screen-gazing individuals, Protein’s six dancers stylishly nail the language of life online, talking and dancing at speed and making straight-to-the-audience confessionals.
