Artists put the Bay on display

Lancaster Maritime Museum.

LANCASTER’S Maritime Museum is inviting people to an exciting exhibition inspired by the sands of Morecambe Bay.

Using mixed media artwork, the Shifting Sands exhibition takes its inspiration from the local landscape of Morecambe Bay – its stories, histories and secrets.

Local artists have been working together to develop new pieces embracing local history, and discovering objects washed up or revealed by the shifting sands.

The exhibition is now under way and it runs until March 18.
