Here is your chance to win a colour painting by one of Lancaster’s top artists, raise money for St John’s Hospice and maybe scoop £750 cash into the bargain.

The Visitor and Lancaster Guardian have teamed up with Chas Jacobs who has kindly donated two signed colour prints to help raise money for our #SaveOurHospice campaign.

The limited edition paintings are of a snowy scene outside Lancaster Castle and of the annual fireworks display high above the city.

To have a chance of winning one of these prints, all you have to do is sign up to the St John’s Hospice weekly lottery cash prize draw.

The cost is £13 for a period of 13 weeks. All proceeds will go to our #SaveOurHospice appeal.

To sign up, visit the website   HERE and follow the instructions.

To be included in the Chas Jacobs competition draw, you must use the code word ‘CHAS’ in the field ‘Where did you hear about our Lottery?’

The closing date to enter the competition is January 9 2014 so you have a full month to sign up. We will then hold a prize draw and two lucky winners will receive a Chas Jacobs print.

By signing up, you will also be entered into the St John’s Hospice lottery draw for 13 weeks. A weekly cash prize draw takes place every Friday with 13 cash prizes. The star prize is £750.

You must be over 18 and a resident of the UK to enter.

You can sign up for longer than 13 weeks if you wish to, as there are options to join for 26 or 52 weeks.

Winning lottery numbers are displayed at the hospice, on the hospice website, Facebook and the Lancaster Guardian Social Scene.

The hospice will call the top three prize winners each to week to share the good news with them. Winners receive their winning cheques automatically in the post the following week.
