The Chancellor of the Exchequer has popped in to see a couple in Pilling who are about to get married.
George Osborne visited Emma Hermon and Graham Bailey, who will wed next month, while on a visit to the area ahead of the General Election.
Mr Osborne heard how they would like to buy their home from the housing association that owns it but are unable to under current legislation.
The visit came just hours after Prime Minister David Cameron announced plans to allow housing association tenants to buy their home in an extension of the right-to-buy policy.
Mr Osborne was joined by Eric Ollerenshaw, Parliamentary Candidate for Lancaster and Fleetwood for the Conservative party.
The Chancellor later visited the Golden Ball pub in Pilling to speak to regulars and residents.
