Award-winning eco school

Pupils and staff from Thurnham Glasson School were delighted when their'School Business Manager, Mrs Jayne Weatherill, was nominated to be a'national finalist in the National Association of School Business Management'2013 awards in the 'Eco' category.  They were thrilled when Mrs Weatherill,'who attended a special ceremony in London recently, came back with the'Winning trophy and certificate for this category of the awards.  Mrs'Weatherill has worked with the whole school on their Eco-School journey for'the last eight years and, working with the children, has enabled them to'gain three Eco-Schools Green Flag awards; they are currently working on'their fourth submission.'Pictured is Jayne Weatherill with the Junior children from Thurnham Glasson'School.
