April’s birthstone is the diamond, so it seems timely that a brand new diamond room is opening in Lancaster this month.

Housed in Silver Tree Jewellery, The Diamond Room features stunning collections of engagement rings, wedding bands, eternity rings and diamond set jewellery, and will give customers a unique setting in which to choose their extra special purchase.

The Silver Tree, in Penny Street, is a family-run business, renowned for their expertise and luxury branded jewellery. Already the go-to place for gifts and watches by many lead designers including Thomas Sabo, Swarovski and Vivienne Westwood, the Silver Tree have been welcoming customers since its conception in 1982.

Keen to introduce their exceptional level of customer service to the wedding jewellery world, the new room is the idea of managing director Oliver Gibson and sales director Hannah Riding.

The room is beautifully decorated, with illuminated glass cases that are built into the walls, to display the precious stones at their very best. Customers are also offered a welcoming drink from the champagne bar.

To mark the launch of this new space, a diamond ring worth £1,800 is on offer to the customer who can guess when the ice sculpture it is encased in will melt.

Oliver said: “We have always shown diamond and wedding jewellery, but our new Diamond Room will offer customers a more sophisticated selection of precious jewellery within a friendly atmosphere. We wanted to give our customers somewhere special, with space and time to talk through, and think about their purchase. After all, they are choosing, what is essentially, a forever piece. Our vision is to be a bride’s or groom’s ultimate jewellery store”.
