A judgement on the legal challenge against the decision to grant permission for the Heysham M6 Link Road is due early next month.

The Judiciary for England and Wales said that Justice Turner, who heard the challenge from Transport Solutions for Lancaster and Morecambe (TSLM) in the High Court in July, is expected to hand down his decision on October 4.

The challenge focussed on the legality of the Secretary of State for Transport’s decision to grant Lancashire County Council permission to build the road.
