LANCASTER dancer Alice Woodhouse made it through to the second round of TV’s So You Think You Can Dance last weekend.

The 23-year-old, from Owen Road, was paired up with male dancer Charlie in the third instalment of the competition, and they performed a contemporary routine in front of judges Nigel Lythgoe, Arlene Phillips, Louise Redknapp and Sisco Gomez, as well as millions of viewers across the country.

The pair were voted in the bottom two performances by the TV audience, and had to perform individually for the judges, who decided that the other couple up for elimination, Paige and Gian-Luca, should leave the competition.
