THE Lancaster Ballet & Theatre School, incorporating Highfield Priory School, performed a dance medley recently at the Nuffield Theatre, Lancaster University.

The dance school held two sell-out performances that included tales of Beatrix Potter, which brought the house down.

The show consisted of a variety of dances from ballet, tap, jazz and disco with a modern twist and was choreographed by the school’s principal Heather Burns and her assistants Andrew Hindley, Rebecca Bagherian and Cerri Griffiths.

The dance students performed each act with passion, professionalism and radiated enthusiasm and joy throughout the audience.

One of the pupils, Amy Weir, nominated Brian House Children’s Hospice in Bispham along with other parents as the dance school’s chosen charity to donate the proceeds of the show to.
