The woman pictured, from Lincolnshire, contacted police after a family member saw the appeal on Facebook.

Detective Constable James Brice, based at Totnes police station, said: “I would like to thank everyone who shared the appeal with friends across the country. Without your help the victims would not have been identified as quickly as this.

“The victim appears to be very happy that she will be reunited with her stolen property.

“We can now continue with our enquiries into this investigation.”
