Lancashire residents will pay an extra 1.99 per cent for policing after the county’s police and crime commissioner officially signed off his budget.

Clive Grunshaw asked residents to pay more after government funding cuts. His plan was backed by 74 per cent of 1,405 residents surveyed and the Police and Crime Panel. Band D properties will see bills rise £3 a year on average.
