Detectives are reappealing for information about a street robbery in Lancaster.

At midnight on Thursday May 17, a 19- year- old student withdrew £30 from the Halifax ATM on Penny Street.

A short time later he was attacked by a man in the alleyway next to the cash machine, before a second man appeared and the teenagers mobile phone and wallet were stolen.

DC Jennie Pinder from Lancaster CID said: “I appreciate this robbery happened quite some time ago, but I would urge people to cast their minds back and if they were in the area at the time and think they may have some information that could help us, then I would ask them to come forward.” Call 101.
