Pub assault appeal

A man was assaulted on a night out with friends.

Police have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the assault at the Kings Arms in Morecambe.

He is described as white, medium build and in his early 30s wearing a grey shirt and dark jeans.

The man was with another man and a group of women.

Police are also keen to speak to a woman identified on the CCTV who is described as white, large build, in her late 20s – early 30s, long dark hair and wearing a white top and black leggings.

PC Byrony Fell, from Lancaster & Morecambe Police, said: “We would ask the public to study the images released and I would urge anybody that recognises the male or female to get in contact with us for enquiries to take place.

“This has been a nasty unprovoked assault of which I am keen to speak to the people involved”.

The assault happened shortly after midnight on October 26.
