Police are holding cycle marking events on three dates in various locations in Lancaster.

Police have noticed a marked increase in people using their pedal cycles around the local area and there has been a slight increase in the number of thefts of pedal cycles in the city centre.

Lancaster and Morecambe Police are still running the free cycle marking scheme.

Go along to:

Café d’lune (Condor Green) between 10am and 1pm on October 9;

Chancellors Wharfe (near B & Q) at 6pm on October 10;

City Block Lancaster City Centre, at 1.30pm on November 5.

There will also be ‘pop up’ events near Millenium Bridge/cycle track throughout October.
