Police investigating the theft of a motorbike in Lancaster have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to.

The incident happened on November 25 at around 1.17am near to the junction of Clare Road and Slyne Road.

Officers said two men walked up to a parked red Suzuki motor cycle and, using bodily force, removed the bike and made off on it - riding towards Lancaster city centre.

The vehicle was later seen being used in what police described as “suspicious circumstances”.

It was later found abandoned and recovered in the Skerton area.

Lancaster Police said: “We are looking to speak with the two men in the CCTV images in connection with the offence and would ask anyone with any information to contact police on 101.”
