A new report shows how many serious offenders are monitored in Lancashire.

The multi-agency public protection arrangements (MAPPA) is how police and the probation and prison services work together to manage criminals.

Its most recent report shows that in March there were 1,542 sexual offenders, 866 violent criminals and 15 ‘other dangerous offenders’ under supervision in the county.
