A man who stole a fire extinguisher from a club befor firing it at someone in the street has been given a community order by Lancaster magistrates.
Adam Lee Campbell, 22, pleaded guilty to the theft from the Gordon Working Men’s Club in Springfield Street, Morecambe.
At the hearing, Campbell was ordered to complete 120 hours of unpaid work in the community.
Campbell, who lives at Edenvale Crescent in Lancaster, also admitted a further charge.
He pleaded guilty to destroying food worth £50 belonging to Gizmo’s Pizzeria.
For this offence, the court told him to pay compensation of £50.
And he also admitted a third charge of spraying a fire extinguisher at a member of the public.
The court heard that all three of the offences were committed at a time when Campbell was the subject of an anti-social behaviour order.
Magistrates passed an additional sentence that he must pay another £50 in compensation and pay a victim surcharge of £60.
