Hot air balloon strikes power line
A Carnforth resident reported a hot air balloon had struck an overhead power line, taking power out at 344 houses.
A spokesperson for Electricity Northwest said: “A local customer phoned us to tell us they had lost power and a neighbour had seen the hot air balloon strike the line.
“We were not able to trace the hot air balloon.”
The incident was at 9.09pm on May 23.
