Detectives are continuing to investigate the alleged rape of a 23-year-old university student in Lancaster.
Officers said the woman, a student at the University of Cumbria, was attacked on Ashton Road as she walked home from a night out between midnight and 2.30am on March 3. A man who she approached and asked for directions attacked her after they had a brief conversation, police said.
He’s described as in his early 20s with wavy hair, about five feet ten inches tall and of average build. Call police on 101 with information.
