THREE men from Lancaster and Heysham accused of encouraging offences using Facebook amid the riots which swept the country earlier this month have been bailed.
Stefan Johnson, 21, of Greenfield Street, Lancaster, and Karl Manley, 28, of Goldfinch Close, Heysham, appeared together at Preston Crown Court on Wednesday.
Manley is accused of encouraging or assisting the commission of an offence (burglary) using Facebook.
Johnson is accused of intentionally encouraging or assisting in the commission of an offence believing it would be committed. Both stood in the dock wearing smart suits and spoke only to confirm their names.
