A MAN has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the second time.
David Taylor was jailed for a chilling four-decade rape spree last Friday.
He was originally sent to prison for life in 1987 after murdering a teenager in Morecambe, but was released from prison early.
Last week, he received his second life sentence for raping 11 victims and either trying to rape or indecently assault 17 others.
Back in 1986, Taylor deliberately drove his car into 17-year-old Andrew Williams and killed him.
Taylor, 66, was released in 1999 after serving just 12 years. But then his hideous series of sex crimes, which spanned 1970 to 2008 and all took place in the Manchester area, were uncovered.
