CCTV appeal after theft from shop

CCTV images of a woman entering the One Stop Store on Lancaster Road have been released.

The woman put various items in her basket before leaving the store without paying and taking the basket with her.

PC Caroline Caine, from Lancaster Police, said: “We would appeal to the public, and anyone who can identify the female in the CCTV images to get in touch with us to help us and provide any information in regards to this investigation”.

The theft happened at 7pm on March 8.
