Bikers across Lancaster, Morecambe, Blackpool and the Fylde coast are are being asked to ride considerately as the summer months approach.
Police will be speaking with riders at various locations to remind them to ride responsibly, particularly in residential areas.
Both the police and VOSA will also be carrying out checks on motorcycles and those found to be using illegal exhausts will be prosecuted. Sergeant Nigel Ralphson said: “We’re asking motorcyclists to ride responsibly and have consideration for the people who live on the popularly used roads.
“ We’re not out to spoil anybody’s fun.”
