A young girl had to hide in bushes to escape a teenage girl who threatened and assaulted her.
Police said that a 14-year-old girl and her friend were chased from King George’s Field, Slyne Road, by an older girl who then subjected her to humiliation and threats before assaulting her.
The pair then fled and were forced to hide in bushes until the teenager left.
The young girl described her attacker as a white female between 15 to 17 years old with dark brown hair scrunched up into a bun on top of her head.
The rest of her hair was described as not frizzy but ‘volumised’.
The teenager was wearing a black leather jacket and dark blue jeans and had heavy black eye-shadow and dark brown eyes.
The incident happened at 4.15pm on May 10.
