Police have released a CCTV still of a young child and youths following damage to a vintage tractor in Heysham.

At 4.30pm on March 9, a group of youths were moved away from the rear of a property on Main Street, Heysham, which backs onto the beach.

Upon checking the victim’s tractor, which had been parked up in the rear yard, damage had been caused totalling approximately £200 including the dash gauges, which had been smashed.

CCTV from the area was obtained and the youths were seen climbing up on to the tractor and damaging it just before they were moved on.

PC Cheryl Oldacre, from Morecambe Police, said: “We would ask the public to study the images released and I would urge anybody that recognises the individuals to get in contact with us. “I would also appeal directly to the youths and their parents and ask that they make contact with us”
