Lancaster charity Unique Kidz and Co has produced a film which highlights the valuable work they do.
Unique Kidz and Co offers disabled children and young people in north Lancashire access to high quality play activities.
Based at Lancaster Leisure Park, it is the brain child of two mums of disabled children, Jane Halpin and Denise Armer, who were unable to find suitable play and social activities for their children.
Driven by the needs of their own children they began to gather the views of other parents of disabled children in the local area.
Armed with the information they had collected they began to create a charitable organisation which would aspire to meet the needs of disabled children and their families living within the Lancaster area.
The film, produced by local film production company Gorgeous Media, gives an insight into the work of Unique Kidz, and how they can help children and young people with disabilities.
An original, longer version of the film was made to show at the charity’s first Charity Ball, which was held in October 2012.
It appears on David Cameron’s Big Society website as a means of showcasing the work Unique Kidz and Co does.
