Six-year-old Warton schoo girl Holly Short bagged a £25 gift card and £250 for her school after winning an art competition to promote Tesco’s new ‘click and collect’ service.
The Archbishop Hutton Primary School pupil’s design has also been printed onto 250 re-usable shopping bags which will now be distributed free to parents and children at the school.
Schoolchildren were asked by the tesco.com team to design an eye-catching picture to go alongside the ‘click and collect’ design to promote the new service.
A first for Carnforth, shoppers can order groceries online and arrange to pick them up without having to leave their car.
Holly’s entry was selected by judges for its colour, impact, sense of fun and style.
She collected her prizes from the store with classmates this week.
