Harvest competitions, as well as craft workshops, storytelling sessions, flower arranging classes and lots more will be among the activities at Lancaster Castle this weekend.
There will also be performances, for the first time inside the walls, by the popular John o’Gaunt Morris Men at the castle’s first ever Harvest Festival.
Competitions include adult and children’s classes for best floral display, home-made jam and animals made out of fruit and veg, as well as a harvest-themed photography competition.
You can also enjoy a two-course Harvest Supper served in the castle’s outside the courtyard area at 4pm on Saturday, £6 per adult and £4 for under 12s.
For more information (and to book places for the supper) you can email Francesca@lancaster-castle.co.uk or call 01524 848525.
