Although The Ridge and Freehold bonfire and fireworks event is not taking place this year, there are other places where you can get warm and cosy by the fire with friends and family.

A free bonfire event will take place at Hala Triangle on Saturday November 7.

There will be a small stand to purchase food and drink.

Bolton-le-Sands holds an annual bonfire on its community centre playing field.

This year the event is ticket only, and takes place on Saturday November 7. Tickets are £5 each and free for pre-school age children.

Food and drink concessions will be available at the event. Alcohol is not allowed to be brought into the event.

The Vale of Lune Rugby Club is holding a bonfire event on Friday November 6.

Tickets for the event are now sold out and none will be available on the door.

Garstang Community Centre also holds an event on Saturday, November 7.

Fireworks will also be visible right across the Lancaster District on Saturday night for the Lancaster Fireworks Extravaganza.

Stay safe and keep warm.
