Around 45 jobs will be created when a new pub opens next to Morecambe FC’s Globe Arena.
Applications are now being accepted for the hospitality jobs at the Hurley Flyer, which is due to open in May off Christie Way.
A manager has already been recruited for the new-build Marston’s pub and restaurant.
Now the company wants to recruit bar and waiting staff, chefs, kitchen assistants, kitchen porters and cleaners.
All new team members will complete a comprehensive training programme to ensure they are ready for the pub’s opening.
This will include e-learning courses, two nationally-recognised qualifications and everything needed to provide top service and correctly prepared drinks.
Modern apprenticeships and NVQs are also available through Marston’s Inns and Taverns’ career path, as well as opportunities to progress through the company’s Keyholder Supervisory Scheme and chef programme.
Cheryl Evans, the company’s HR director, said: “As a company, we’re fully committed to supporting the career development of our employees.
“We’re only a couple of months away from opening the Hurley Flyer pub, and this is an exciting time for us.
“We believe that when it’s open, the pub will be a real community hub, which will not only offer great food and drink, but also excellent value for money and fantastic customer service.”
The new pub will cater for about 180 diners and will offer a two-for-one menu.
It is due to open at the end of May.
