A leading local solicitors firm has opened a new office in Milnthorpe.

Wright & Lord, which has premises in central Morecambe and Bare, has opened its latest office in spacious premises on Beetham Road.

The firm has taken on five additional staff in the last few months and is about to start the process of recruiting a further lawyer to support the growth.

Its expert legal services include specialist teams dealing with all matters legal and procedural in the worlds of commerce, agriculture, employment, family and divorce, conveyancing, landlord and tenant, licensing, trusts wills and probate, personal injury, and dispute resolution.

Senior partner, Stephen Wright, said: “We are excited by this new office, not least because of its location here in Milnthorpe. The town is really lively with a warm welcome.

“We are keen to get involved in supporting the community as we have done in Morecambe and Bare and do not expect to just stand idly by waiting for clients to flock towards us.

“We have a responsibility to play our part in the economics of the area and earn the respect of the community before we can be a fully integrated part of it.”

“We have worked hard to make the offices really comfortable and friendly place to visit.

£There is free parking, disabled access, early and weekend opening hours and we are happy to visit our clients at their homes or businesses at no extra charge to make life easier.”

“We look forward to a long and happy future here.”
