Lancaster digital media firm Moshen has now officially gone into administration.
Companies House has listed the company, based at The Storey in Lancaster, as “in administration”.
The adminstrator is listed as Cooper Young, based in Woodford Green, Essex.
Moshen, which was set up in 2009, developed mobile software applications, and has worked with high profile clients such as the English Premier League, IMG, Chelsea Football Club and Robinsons pub chain.
Last week the Lancaster Guardian reported that the chief executive of the company had been suspended after a company that invested in it had discovered financial irregularities.
A spokesman for Lancaster City Council, the company’s landlord at the Storey said: “We are seeking confirmation of the position from the administrators and this will inform our future actions regarding the tenancy.
“The council is actively promoting the availability of workspaces and public meeting rooms within the building.
If the company vacates its offices in the building it will not have any direct effect on the way the building is run either now or in the future.”
