Biker dies after collision near Carnforth

A man has died following a collision between a motorbike and car near Carnforth.

Lancashire Police were called around 11.25am on Monday, May 16, to reports of a collision at the junction of Nineteen Acre Lane and the A6 in Yealand Redmayne.

The male rider of the motorbike, believed to be in his 60s, suffered serious injuries and sadly died.

Police investigations continued for much of the afternoon, leading to the closure of the A6 in both directions.
