A BAND formed by two brothers from Lancaster will return to the city for a charity concert.
Manchester’s Hymek Manoeuvre will join The Swarm and Cathy Ife on the bill for Rock The Square 2012, which has been organised by local charity One Voice, to be held at the Dalton Rooms on Friday, March 9.
Both Dan Williams, 24, and Jack, 22, from the Hymek Manoeuvre went to Quernmore Primary School and then on to Skerton Community High School.
Their mother Jo Williams, who manages One Voice, said: “After a stint at college and university for them both, they ended up in Manchester and the idea for a band took seed.
“Jack was by this time writing his own songs and they both worked at Wetherspoons, in Chorlton, to pay the rent.
“The Hymek Manoeuvre was born just over 12 months ago and soon afterwards they took second place in the regional finals of BBC Unsigned.”
