ACTOR turned musician Adrian Edmondson headlines an autumn season of music, magic and a whole lot more at The Platform.

Edmondson, famous for his anarchic antics in The Young Ones and Bottom, will bring his band of Bad Shepherds and their unique blend of folk-punk to the venue on November 5.

He joins acts already announced including magician Paul Daniels (September 17) and multi-award winning stand-up comedian and movie star Omid Djalili, whose show is already sold out.

Fans of 1960s music can look forward to seeing Gerry and the Pacemakers and The Searchers, while those who fancy a night of hilarious hillbilly country rock can catch Hayseed Dixie.

Something more mainstream is on offer with From the Jam, featuring legendary bass player Bruce Foxton, formerly of The Jam.

Others stars appearing include Squeeze frontman Glen Tilbrook, The Manfreds with original Manfred Man frontman Paul Jones, Chris Farlowe and the Norman Beaker Band and Lloyd Cole.
