The new landlords of a semi derelict development site in Halton say they have sold eleven more properties in just six months.

Jim Entwistle and Steve Ronson, from Over Wyre, and John Willan and Raymond Huschka, from Penrith, bought the Halton Mills site in Low Road in September.

The site, which is being marketed by Entwistle Green in Lancaster, includes 11 built and 12 part built townhouses, 17 building plots and a block of 21 flats, has been standing virtually empty for three years after former owners and developers Time and Tide Ltd went into administration.

Ten of the townhouses and one flat have now all sold, and phase two is being launched this week which comprises nine one bed flats, 12 two bed flats, a two bed town house and 12 four bed townhouses.

“We have worked hard over the last 7 months to complete the first phase, and had good interest in the properties with all but one sold. We are progressing well with the second phase and hoping to have town houses and apartments ready by June or July.

“We appreciate the patience of the existing and new residents and hope everyone can see the positive impact we have made in bringing the site back to life.”

An on-site office is due to open by the end of May.
