SUPPORT Heartbreaks took to the stage with a promising effortlessly cool start, but when technical difficulties arose, rather than being easily dismissed, they seemed to cause on-stage tension, casting something of a shadow on the set.

What shed light back onto the performance was the fact that indie fans looking for something new to sink their teeth into need look no further than this northern quartet.

Last time Morning Parade came to Lancaster Library they performed a support slot. Tonight they were back, rightfully, to headline.

Although it was noticeable that the crowd was sparse, the sound coming from the Essex quintet dominated the spare space, with every song seemingly written with a live agenda in mind.
