A 44-YEAR-old man died on New Year's Eve after he was thrown from his vehicle when it hit the central barrier on the M6 near Forton.
The incident occured between junction 33 and 34 on the northbound carriageway at 1.20pm, with the Renault Traffic van completely overturning after drifting into the central reservation.
The man, believed to be from the Preston area, was taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital, where he died shortly after.
