PAMELA Anderson could be swapping cocktails for cockles as she ponders a move to Morecambe Bay.
The former "Baywatch babe" and model, who set lads' pulses racing throughout the Nineties, is said to be looking at buying a home at the English seaside.
"Pammy loves it in England and is looking at buying two houses, one in London and one by the sea," said her agent, who added that one of the places she was interested in was Morecambe Bay.
Michael Guy, manager at Morecambe RNLI Station, said that 42-year-old Pammy would be eligible to join the lifeboat crew but added: "She'd be treated like any other applicant, so if she wants to pop along and have a chat about it, I'm sure we can accommodate that."
Or she could enquire at Lancaster City Council about getting a job with the Morecambe beach patrol, who look after visitors over the summer.
Pammy, who currently lives in Malibu, will need a good pair of wellies and waterproof jacket if she's going to make the move from sun-drenched California to, well, mostly drenched Morecambe.
But Jim Trotman, tourism manager at Lancaster City Council, said he could understand why she would choose Morecambe.
"I'm sure Pamela would be fascinated by the beauty and variety of this part of England. She would certainly spark a lot more interest in the resort and I'm sure people would come here to try and see her."
