POLICE in Carnforth are appealing for witnesses after keys and an alarm fob were stolen from a car showroom at the weekend.
A man entered the Norjac Ltd car showroom in Scotland Road at around 2pm on Saturday as a potential customer before asking the lone member of staff if he could use the toilet.

The man was shown where the facilities were and a short time later he was seen around the office area of the showroom.

When the member of staff later went to the office, it was noticed that the keys for a new, part-exchanged black Audi A4 were missing.

The man is described as white, approximately 5ft 7ins tall, gaunt looking with missing teeth.

His hair is described as fair, red in colour and short and untidy. He was wearing dark denim jeans and a black t-shirt with a logo and he had a cut on his left ear.

The car has now been removed from the showroom and is in a secure storage.

Anyone with any information in relation to this should contact police on 01524 63333.
