Pedestrian hit by lorry

A pedestrian was hit by a lorry in Warton Road in Carnforth yesterday afternoon.
Ambulances and police cars attended the scene and cordoned off the area at around 1.15pm after a woman of around 35 years old was found lying in the road outside the Peking Chinese Restaurant.

The woman was taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary and was released this morning with no serious injuries.
