TRIBUTE has been paid to Carl Blamire who died after a road accident in Morecambe Road last week.
Carl's mother Margaret said: "Carl was a happy person and lived life as it came.

"He always thought a lot about other people, especially his three brothers Danny, Lee and Dean and his girlfriend Becky.

"He was a person who always had a smile for people and he will be greatly missed by all his family and his close friends, especially Jez and Mike.''

Carl, 24, from Ryelands, was cycling along Morecambe Road when he was hit by a lorry last Thursday afternoon

He suffered serious head injuries and was taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary where he died on Friday.

Police are still appealing for witnesses to come forward, and anyone with information should call Lancaster police on 01524 63333, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
