Bypass closed after crash

The Heysham bypass was closed for almost two hours on Wednesday afternoon after a collision between two cars.
A woman from Heysham was taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary with back injuries after the collision at 1.15pm. The female driver of the other car involved, an Audi A4, was also taken to the RLI for treatment. She was from Cartmel.

A section of the road was closed until 3pm.
