SUPER EASTER TRADE FOR SPRING LAMBS AT BENTHAM

Taking top honours at Bentham & District Farmers' Auction Mart's Easter Show & Sale of Spring Lambs, JD&V Towers & Son from Farleton sold their 44kg Champion exhibits for £126.00 a head to Bowland Foo
ds in behalf of Roy Procter, Family Butcher, Chatburn.

The Tower's family also took the Reserve ticket with their 40kg exhibits going to the same buyer, this time for £92.00 per head, as well as selling their first prize winners from the under 36kg class for £64.00 a head to A Shan.

Winning the Supreme Hogg Competition was J Garth & Son, Keasden with their 42kg exhibits, before selling them for £114.00 a head to S Price Family Butchers.
