NEW deals have been confirmed which will see three Lancaster City players remaining at the club next season.
Boss Tony Hesketh has now agreed a new deal with captain Michael Stringfellow – and Andy Teague and Mike Rushton will also be putting pen to paper on new contracts.

"I am delighted to say they will be Lancaster City players next season," Hesketh s
aid.

"Michael Stringfellow will be our captain again next season. He is a good player and a good leader.

"We have also agreed terms with Andy Teague and Mike Rushton and I am pleased they are committing themselves to the club."

Hesketh is also hopeful of signing new players for City's forthcoming season.

"A lot of other players have been invited to join us at pre-season and negotiations are still taking place," he said.

Meanwhile, City have lined up pre-season friendlies against Nelson (away) on July 28 and at home to Kendal on August 4.

A match against Morecambe at Giant Axe is also likely to be confirmed for July 27.

A final game is expected to be arranged for August 8, ahead of the new season kicking off a week later.

City have already confirmed friendly games against Peel United, Barrow, Fleetwood and Blackpool.

A meeting to confirm the structure of Hesketh's management team has been put back to June 17.
